About Us
Established: The Carson Valley Chamber of Commerce was incorporated on November 26, 1945.
Mission: “To identify and address the changing needs of the business community and to promote quality of life in the Carson Valley.”
Service Area: Carson Valley encompasses the Towns of Minden, Gardnerville and Genoa as well as Topaz Lake area, businesses established in the Johnson Lane area, Gardnerville Ranchos and Indian Hills.
Incorporated Status: 501c6 of the Internal Revenue Service Code for not-for-profit organizations.
Membership: More than 500 businesses, professionals and individuals. The Chamber’s membership is non-partisan, non-sectarian and non-exclusive.
Finances: The Chamber operates on a July 1-June 30 fiscal year.
Operations: Daily administration is directed by a paid President/CEO, Executive Assistant and Marketing and Communications Manager.
Hours: Monday thru Friday from 9am to 4pm. Closed Holidays

The Carson Valley Chamber of Commerce is a member-driven organization dedicated to strengthening local businesses, supporting economic vitality, and enhancing the quality of life throughout Carson Valley. We bring together businesses, professionals, nonprofits, community leaders, and residents who share a commitment to building a thriving and prosperous community.
The Chamber serves as the unified voice of business, advocating for policies and initiatives that foster economic growth, encourage entrepreneurship, and support a healthy business climate. Through networking opportunities, educational programs, business resources, community partnerships, and strategic advocacy, we help our members succeed while contributing to the overall success of Carson Valley.
