Women Self Defense
This course is designed to enhance the student's ability to identify threats and provide options-based training to enhance survivability during hostile situations. Topics to be discussed will include: self-defense myths and false information, identifying threats and options for overcoming them, body language of an aggressor, less lethal tools available to the public, freeze, flight fight and how to overcome your fear, and ground fighting basics and escapes. Upon successful completion of the course, the student will be able to identify threats, and students will have an understanding of basic ground fighting and escapes. Course Advisory: Strong language and physical contact will be utilized throughout the course. Students are advised to ewar comfortable, work-out type clothing and no jewelry.
