    NV Bugs & Butterflies Citizen Science Butterfly Monitoring!

    Nevada Bugs and Butterflies is kicking off their 4th annual citizen science butterfly Monitoring season! That means we need YOU to help us to provide valuable Information about butterfly diversity in the Great Basin and Sierra Nevada regions.Attend our free spring training to get the program basics.

    Saturday, June 1st: Classroom 10am - 1pm, Field 1pm-3pm
    The Nature Conservancy’s River Fork Ranch Preserve
    381 Genoa Ln. Minden, NV

    Our classroom portion covers butterfly biology, monitoring protocols and data reporting, and local butterfly identification. If you’re able after class we’ll practice our survey and ID skills at the River Fork Ranch Preserve. Come join us in an effort to understand and conserve our local butterfly populations!
